The College Board has just announced that its launched a $25 million scholarship program. They plan to award nearly 20,000 scholarships over the next 5 years as follows:

• 600 scholarships of $500 each: Build a college list
• 1,500 scholarships of $1,000 each for practicing for the SAT
• 150 scholarships of $2,000 each for improving SAT scores
• 400 scholarships of $500 each to strengthen college lists
• 500 scholarships of $1,000 each for applying to college
• 800 scholarships of $1,000 each for completing the FAFSA
• And at least 250 scholarships worth $40,000 each will be awarded to those who complete all 6 steps listed above
