Interest in the arts (music, particularly), interested in writing and English in general. I consider myself a good writer, and my interest in the English arts has always been prevalent in my time at school. I am part of the high school band, playing rhythm guitar and piano, and I've had some experience volunteering at local libraries. I've had a lot of experience with intellectual learning and with reading and writing, and I am very interested in developing skills that may differ from this idea somewhat. I have an interest in developing physical skills and experiencing some more manual work.
Generally, I am interested in working with my hands. Working at a shop or studio where I can learn some skills of the trade would help me develop more as a person. A music internship intrigues me also, such as something involving sound engineering. Overall, some work in a studio or shop would really suit my interests.
I'm looking primarily for a place where I can learn a skill and develop that skill by working with an authority figure or mentor. A supportive workplace environment for me means a place where I am able to learn from observation and hands-on work in a shop or studio, and where I can feel accomplished in the skill I acquire.

My greatest strengths include working with children and people.
For my internship I have been looking forward to experience something different than i am used to. I have recently found a new interest in cosmetology and skin care and hope to pursue it. I would love to be able to do some hands-on work.
My main interests include art, history, travel and photography. For the past four years have pursued my interest in photography through classes at the International Center for Photography. I am currently enrolled in the year long intensive imagemakers program there. Last summer I explored the medium of film/video at the Rhode Island School of Design's 6 week pre-college program. At RISD I also studied design and drawing foundations, and art history.
I would say that my greatest strengths are my creativity, my adaptability, and my capacity to work well in groups.
I am very interested in working in the field of art. I think I would gain a lot from working in a museum, in a gallery, or with a publication or artist. I believe that this experience would help me further explore my passion and curiosity for art. I would love to be able to learn with other people who share this passion.
My ideal workplace environment is small, tight knit community of creative, open and communicative people.

My main interests for an internship are education, child development, and science. Education has been a main interest of mine for the past five years. I plan on studying education and child development during my time in college. This experience particularly babysitting has given me a real passion for teaching others and young children. Some skills that I have are public speaking, customer service, child care, and American Sign Language.
The work fields I am interested in are elementary schools or pre-schools/day cares. At one of these work sights I would like to be able to assist a teacher during class time and outside of class with school curriculum. I would like to be able to interact and help out with students and gain an understanding of how a classroom is run.
My main interests are history, geography, digital and film photography, and filmmaking. I've taken 3 film classes, 1 at SVA, and one at the NY Film Academy. I also took a class in film photography at the International Center for Photography (ICP) and I am a member of the ICE Youth Media Club. Last year I went with my classmates on a 3 week photography trip to Nepal. I am strong in writing and art.
I would love an internship relating to any area of my interests. Something photography or film related would be ideal. Otherwise anything relating to art or carpentry would be amazing. These are also things I've found I'm pretty good at and would like any opportunity to pursue them. Any kind of studio or workshop would be great. I would rather not work in an office unless it is photography or film related.
I would love to find an internship related to fishing, as I fish every weekend, and it is not only a sport, but a way of life for me. It gives me peace and tranquility when I am having a stressful week, and it always brings me joy. I also run track, as used to run for a track team, although I don't run for this team anymore, I never lost my speed.
My greatest strength is my will. No matter what sport I am playing or what I am doing, I never give up. This summer in Alaska I didn't know the terrain very well, and I really wanted to catch a salmon. Day after day, and night after night I fished my heart out, in the ice cold Kenai River. Each day I didn't catch, but also I never gave up. Finally I caught a salmon, as my efforts finally paid off. And the trip did not go unfulfilled. I ate that salmon, and was never happier, as it gave me a sensibility of surviving off the land.

My main interest include art, filming, writing stories, and skating. In my free time I paint, draw in my sketch book, and sometimes write stories. I took a six week Saturday art class at the Art Directors Club and on some Friday nights I volunteer at a church to film the services.Personally my main strength is my creativity and how I think in ways which others would not. I enjoy being around people because they make me stronger.
Looking for experience in art fields such as an artist's studio, or anything involving different types of art, like animation or fine art. Another field would be film such as a film apprentice making a small film and even creating the story by writing it. I enjoy doing a hands on type of work, getting "dirty". I'm always willing to do whatever I need to do to get the job done.
I would realy enjoy being in a comfortable environment and not in an office space. I really don't like being at a desk, but if it was a personal work space that involved my hands on work that would be great. I enjoy being around very friendly people as I myself am a very friendly person and you'll never worry about me starting trouble because I tend to avoid conflict and if you like to talk I would be happy to talk as well.
My main interests usually revolve around some type of art, writing, or history. Although I'm not the most artistically gifted person (I usually stick to stick figures) I enjoy looking at art and critiquing it. I also enjoy creative writing, which is something I've been able to pursue with my school's literary magazine. Last year after doing a large research project, I realized I enjoyed history.
After interning at the Museum of Art and Design I have found out that I want to pursue public programming. Making art more accessible and finding ways to get people into museums/ galleries is something that I'm interested in. I would also like to intern in a place with a focus on history and design public programs there. I want to make things a little more equal in the world and the best way to do that is to spread opportunity.
I'd be interested in working in an office that has set deadlines and people who are willing to help me. Ideally through this internship I'd gain more and more responsibility as it went on. Hopefully by the end of this internship I'll be able to focus in on what I want to study in college and will have gained a lot more knowledge in whatever field I end up working in.

I am also very passionate about science research and spent my most recent summer vacation participating in psychology research lab as a paid internship at City College of New York. After going to Costa Rica last summer to do volunteer work and volunteering in a soup kitchen with my mom at St Johns church, I know volunteer work is something that I am passionate about. Lastly I would like any position that involves actively contributing and not just sitting in a seat all day or just getting coffee.
I think I would do best in a work environment that is social. I often feel better in situations when I'm surrounded by friendly people and am constantly learning new things whether they are big or small. What I hope to get out of this experience is a better sense of myself and what I may or may not like to do in the future.
I am interested in the fields of computer sciences and electrical engineering. Activities I’ve done at school related to these fields are computer programming and media productions in our weekly student-produced all-school assembly (Town Meeting). In computer programming I learned about coding and for multiple projects I was required to create a playable computer game for students to play, such as Pacman, Leap Frog, and Snake.
My greatest strengths are my compassion for others, my willingness to learn, my focus, and the ability to adapt to any situation.
At my internship I hope to learn how to repair computers and other electronics, how to code, and/or how to inspect appliances and electrical circuits.
I am passionate about several different things including music, animals, and children. Throughout my life I have always been engaged in music related activities, from singing in a choir to making music in the songwriting elective at my school. I also love caring for and playing with animals, as well as children. I enjoy helping other and participating in community service. One of my strengths is that I am a caring person and I also pay close attention to detail. I have experience with interning at a company named RealMatch. This company uses job matching technology to connect employers and qualified job seekers.
Since I am interested in music, animals, and children, I would be happy working in any of these fields. I am interested in any position that will eventually allow me to express my creativity.
The perfect workplace environment for me is one that is relaxed yet focused. I would like to be surrounded by other passionate people who will push me to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone.
