At NY.ICE we develop independent thinkers through collaborative work, authentic problem-solving and inquiry-based projects. Students take risks, test theories, and learn from their hands-on experiences.
Upon graduation, we expect NY.ICE students to be a force in the world, ready to thrive in the academic, creative, social, and intellectual journeys that await them in college and beyond.
The Board of Regents recently approved a Gates Foundation grant for the Regents Research Fund “to support NYS to launch, execute and utilize implementation data collection at the state level.”

This fall we have heard from students and seen student activism and organization at unprecedented levels at I.C.E. Students are working to develop school-wide lessons and discussions topics to address improving how we speak to, and about each other in and out of school.
