5th Annual 10th Grade Arts Extravaganza

Save the Date!! You’re all invited to the 5th annual 10th Grade Art’s Night Extravaganza on Wednesday, May 4th. Help the 10th grade raise money for their trip to Washington D.C by luxuriating in a night of food, music, and art.  Feast on mouthwatering food while enjoying music from the 10th grade elective and other performances. The night will then proceed to the 10th grade showcasing their plays, completely written, produced, directed, by them. This night of festivity will take place from 4:30 p.m to 7:00 a.m.

Spring Fling Committee Still Needs Donations

Trays of food from a restaurant for the night of May 13th, certificate for a restaurant, gym membership, service like a massage or private yoga, theater tickets, concert tickets, comedy Show tickets, certificate for a hotel (even a local one), flight or vacation home, specialty liquor &  wine for wine Pull.
 
Tickets are suggested price $45 in advance $65 at the door. If you purchase 4 tickets you get a 5th ticket for FREE!

Middle School Families – Opt Out of State Test

If you are thinking of having your child refuse this month’s State Tests (ELA & Math), please let the school know ASAP, preferably by tomorrow, Friday, April 1. **

You can:

6e attached Opt-Out Letter to your child to bring to school.

Or

2. Send an email to Assistant Principal Mark Mazzone mdmazzone@gmail.com. Include your name, your child’s name, grade and advisory teacher or section # (if you know it). Use the subject line: Permission to Opt Out

** You can decide right up until the test day, Tuesday, April 5th but it will be easier for the school to plan if you make your decision known earlier.

We are delighted to have Kalman A. Chany, nationally recognized college financing expert and author, who will present an overview of financial aid and other college funding options. Because early planning is often the key to reducing college costs and maximizing aid opportunities, this workshop  is suited for parents of all grades.
