Our mission is to open every door possible for our students. With a commitment to student-centered education, our vision is to provide a nurturing, creative, and challenging academic program that meets the unique needs of all students. Our dedication to maintaining small class sizes enables personal relationships and allows teachers and advisors to make meaningful connections with every student, fostering a culture of safety, support, and belonging.
At NY.ICE we develop independent thinkers through collaborative work, authentic problem-solving and inquiry-based projects. Students take risks, test theories, and learn from their hands-on experiences.
Upon graduation, we expect NY.ICE students to be a force in the world, ready to thrive in the academic, creative, social, and intellectual journeys that await them in college and beyond.

The ICE Music Dept is organizing a couple of cool events. In a couple of weeks there will be an ICE on Fire where all the staff will perform with some guests. The second activity will be a free-jazz workshop after school with William Parker (a free jazz legend.) Both activities are free and after school! Parents can come too. Visit the ICE Music Dept. webpage for more information.
Middle school after school starts Wednesday, October 12th. The schedule is based on the DOE academic calendar - any day ICE has off, after school has off. Programs run for 3 hours - Monday & Friday- 2-5 and Tuesday- Thursday 3-6.
