12G Literature Panels
/Starting next week, the Humanities department will be conducting the 12G Literature Panels for our amazing seniors who have been working hard on their graduation requirement for literature.
The seniors will be presenting and defending their critical and creative work in analyzing the novels, plays, etc. that they have been reading and writing about over the past 5-6 months.
We are looking for MANY parents to volunteer their time to be part of this unique and important aspect of our school’s teaching and learning environment. Sitting on panels is a great way to see the kind of critical reading, writing, and creative work our seniors have been doing in literature.
Parents of younger students get the distinct opportunity to see what your children will be doing when they reach their final year of high school.
No prior experience or knowledge of content is needed.
Your participation on the panels is also a big help to the Humanities department. Involving the I.C.E. community beyond just the staff and students is what makes these panels so special.
The dates of these panels are:
Wednesday, December 7th, 2:30-4:30
Thursday, December 15th, 3:15-5:15
We encourage you to sign up for one OR both dates.
To participate in this wonderfully enriching activity, please fill out this google form: https://forms.gle/a2TdMFUm2Tvxwmp99
Once you fill in the form, we will be in touch with all the details for how the panel will work – and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you so much for your help.
