At NY.ICE we develop independent thinkers through collaborative work, authentic problem-solving and inquiry-based projects. Students take risks, test theories, and learn from their hands-on experiences.
Upon graduation, we expect NY.ICE students to be a force in the world, ready to thrive in the academic, creative, social, and intellectual journeys that await them in college and beyond.

PTA Meeting Special Guests: The Future Pathways Office

Our next PTA meeting will be a hybrid meeting on March 11th at 6pm in room 518. Join us starting at 5:45pm for refreshments and to meet other parents and build community!
The meeting will feature the Future Pathways office, co-led by Molly and Wali. Come and learn how they work with students throughout high school to help them find the right fit for their next steps after NYICE.
Middle school families are welcome and encouraged to attend, so you can learn more and ask questions.
We will also hear from families currently going through the process of college and career planning.

We'll hear about the experience of participating in Panels from NY.ICE students and parents. Panels (also known as PBATs) are one of the MANY things that make our school unique. You can read more about Performance-Based Assessment Tasks (PBATs) here. Join us in-person to (re)connect and meet other parents, hear from our students, and ask questions or get involved.
