SPRING FLING DONATIONS - Dining Challenge

The Dining Challenge continues!  


The Spring Fling needs 2 restaurant donations per grade this week for a total of 14 gift certificates.  This should be easy to achieve, just 2 per grade.  Of course, we will be happy to get more.
 
The gift certificate can be:

  • dinner for two or four

  • a bottle of wine to accompany a dinner

  • complementary appetizers and/or dessert

Restaurants love impressing new diners and more likely than not, the place you approach will say "Yes!"  Let's see every grade get 2 donations this week - the income to your child's school from those donations can easily mean another $1,000.   

          

Please visit, email or call your favorite restaurant today and ask for a donation.

Use the Online Donation Form  or the Printable Donation Form when asking for donations. Be sure to give your donors the  Merchant Letter which includes our tax id number for those who are donating.

 



Wine Pull

The Spring Fling Wine Pull STILL needs more wine!


The more wine that is donated - the more money we make for the school.

So, look through your wine cellars! Or when you're at your local wine shop, ask the owner if they would be willing to donate a bottle (worth $20 or more) for our great school fundraiser!

Email Wine Pull Donations if you're interested in donating a bottle (or more), or can help get wine donations from local vendors.

Looking For Parent Volunteers

TREASURER-IN-TRAINING
Treasurer-in-Training – This is a shared role for which we need 1 more volunteer. You will share all the treasurer stuff which includes two hours a week at school during school hours; attending monthly meetings to present reports and attending fundraisers. Everything else can happen at home using QuickBooks Online and PayPal. We will show you everything you need to know.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
We are in need of a few more volunteers to join the fundraising team to help with our current fundraisers and bring in new fundraisers. Fundraising Committee Team Members  (3 volunteers)

Family Contribution 2018-2019

Dear ICE Families,

ICE is a unique public school, that is likely why you chose to enroll your child. 

At our last PTA Exec Board Meeting it was reported that we have fallen behind in our Family Contributions (95% of the PTA budget comes from family contributions). The PTA rely on your contributions to pay for all the extra programs that support ALL ICE STUDENTS. The extras: the small classes, the individualized attention, the clubs and enrichment activities - those elements contribute to the package that educates your child, encourages him or her to be a life-long learner and lover of knowledge.

The extras comes at a price, not covered by our allocation from the DOE, so we turn to families to pitch in, to help pay for a great education for all. 

If you have not made your family contribution of $700 per child (give more or less, depending on your ability) we ask you make a one-time payment or enroll in the payment plans that are available for the 2018-2019 Family Contribution.
